Do You Feel Perfect?! Cuz I Feel Perfect!!

Cain’s teammates celebrating with him after his perfect game

I work in the Coca-Cola Fan Lot at AT&T Park and Wednesday was just like any other day, or so I thought.  As my co-workers and I were getting ready to start the night we were expecting a good game with Cain on the hill, but nothing like what we saw.  Cain wasn’t the only one on fire for the Giants on the night of June 13th, which will go down in history forever, the offense was also ready to go.

Grab Some Pine Meat!

On Friday June 1st the Giants started a four game series versus the Chicago Cubs.  To get the weekend started on a positive note Theriot and Posey both knocked in runs in the first inning and Cabrera continued his hot streak from May by knocking in a run in the 3rd along with Posey, his second of the night.  That’s all Madison Bumgarner would need as he threw 8 solid innings of no run baseball.  “Mad Bum” has been pitching lights out with 11 strikeouts his last outing and a 6-4 record on the season. Going, Going, Gone!

Buster goes deep!

As all Giants fans know the long ball isn’t our specialty, but earlier this week while visiting Miller Park and the Brewers the Giants came out swinging!  To get the series started on a positive note Hector Sanchez had a pitch hit home run in the top of the 14th to send the Giants back to the hotel with a victory and Posey had a home run in each of the first two games.  The rookie infielder Arias also went deep in game two for his first ever career round tripper!  Hopefully the Giants can keep the bats hot as they head into Miami for the first time this season to face the Marlins in four games and see the new ballpark.

The Giants Rally Back!

Arias, Pagan, and Theriot celebrate after Pagan’s go ahead homerun in the 9th inning

The San Fracisco Giants escape a near sweep of the Reds with a 9th inning 3 run homreun by Pagan to put the Giants ahead for good.  Now the boys return home to face the Padres for the first time this season.  With a little help from the fans this late inning comback could get the Giants on the right track this weekend.  See you at the park!
